Terry Young

Stony Plain FunTeam Hockey - 
1995-2017

Terry is our inaugural recipient of our Community Builder Award in 2018 and we can not think of a more deserving person. Terry was the founding member behind the outdoor, shinny program in Stony Plain that started in 1995  and spent timel as a FunTeam Alberta Board Member from 2015-2017.

To commemorate his time with the organization, Terry was presented with the soap stone carving that pictured a mother duck leading her babies. A fitting image for Terry's role in the Stony Plain community for bringing participants of varying ages to the local outdoor rink to learn skills, have fun and socialize through the game of hockey.

FunTeam Alberta offers its sincerest thanks to Terry for his contributions to the organization and for championing the FunTeam principles in Stony Plain.
